Abstract:
A method for producing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet according to the present invention comprises a step of obtaining a hot-rolled sheet by subjecting a slab to hot rolling; a step of obtaining an annealed hot-rolled sheet by subjecting the hot-rolled sheet to hot-rolled sheet annealing; a step of obtaining a cold-rolled sheet by subjecting the annealed hot-rolled sheet to cold rolling; a step of obtaining a decarburized annealed sheet by subjecting the cold-rolled sheet to decarburization annealing; a step of coating the decarburized annealed sheet with an annealing separation agent for which alumina is a main component; and a step of subjecting the decarburized annealed sheet coated with the annealing separation agent to finish annealing. The annealing separation agent contains 28 to 50 mass% MgO, and the coating amount with the annealing separation agent is 6.0 to 14.0 g/m2 per one side of the decarburized annealed sheet.
