Abstract:
Provided is an amplifier for hematopoietic stem cells and/or hematopoietic precursor cells having utility as a therapeutic method against types of hematopoietic disease, and having utility for improving gene transfer efficiency to the hematopoietic stem cells at the time of gene therapy. A method for producing hematopoietic stem cells and/or hematopoietic precursor cells that is characterized by cultivating and amplifying hematopoietic stem cells while in the presence of a compound represented by formula (I) (R1-R8 in the formula are as defined in the body), a tautomer of the compound, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a solvate of the compounds.
