Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing a herbal oil emulsion using ultrasonic treatment, comprising the steps of: (a) mixing water and a herbal oil so as to provide a first mixture; and (b) applying ultrasonic waves having a frequency of 25-70 kHz to the first mixture so as to cause the first mixture to be water-soluble. The production method according to the present invention has excellent advantages capable of emulsifying various herbal oils very easily at a high yield so as to be water-soluble by processing the herbal oils with ultrasonic waves having a specific frequency, capable of significantly preventing layer separation of oil and water for a long time, and capable of being widely applied to various herbal oils.
