Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing hollow fiber membrane modules, wherein, when cutting an end of a hollow fiber membrane converging body using a guillotine-style cutting blade, and opening the end, a good cut surface, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the hollow fiber membranes and is free of fragments and burrs, is formed. The present invention pertains to a method for producing hollow fiber membrane modules, wherein, when cutting the end of a hollow fiber membrane converging body, formed by integrating the ends of two or more hollow fiber membranes using a fixing resin, with a cutting apparatus equipped with a guillotine-style cutting blade, and opening the end of each hollow fiber membrane, the end of the hollow fiber membrane converging body is supported from the bottom using a support sheet having a flexural modulus of at least 1 GPa, and a thickness of 1 to 5 mm, while cutting the end together with the support sheet.
