Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a hollow fiber membrane module in which a header is welded from a side surface of a main body container end part via ultrasonic welding that uses a horn which produces ultrasonic vibration, such that the hollow fiber membrane module has high bond strength and it is possible to visually check after welding whether or not the header has been reliably welded to the main body container. Applied is a method for producing a hollow fiber membrane module provided with a main body container and a header, wherein a horn is used to ultrasonically weld the header to the main body container. The method for producing the hollow fiber membrane module is characterized in that ultrasonic welding is performed by introducing a horn from the outer peripheral side of a side surface part of a the header, at positions that are on the outer peripheral surface of the side surface part and that are opposite each other sandwiching the axis of the main body container, so that it is possible to visually check after welding whether or not the header has been reliably welded to the main body container.
