Abstract:
One embodiment of this invention provides a method for producing hollow particles, comprising: a step in which a dispersion is prepared by dispersing, in a water phase, an oil phase containing at least a polyfunctional isocyanate compound and a compound having a boiling point of at least 150°C; a step in which, by heat-treating the dispersion, at least the polyfunctional isocyanate compound is made to undergo a polymerization reaction to form a wall, to obtain particles encapsulating the compound having a boiling point of at least 150°C; and a step in which the compound having a boiling point of at least 150°C is removed from the particles by heat treatment, thereby forming hollowing particles having a single space therein. Also provided is a method for producing a pore-making material, a method for producing particles for cosmetics and a method for producing a weight-reducing material.
