Abstract:
To recycle incineration bottom ash without requiring enormous energy and to improve the humidity conditioning property. The method for producing a humidity conditioning building material includes a carbonation step (S2) for performing carbonation treatment by bringing carbon dioxide gas containing carbon dioxide into contact with incineration bottom ash, a kneading step (S3) for kneading an aggregate, cement, and an admixture to produce a kneaded product, a first molding step (S4) for pressure molding the kneaded product to mold a molded article, a paste layer formation step (S5) for supplying a paste material to the surface of the molded article to form a paste layer, a humidity conditioning layer formation step (S6) for applying incineration bottom ash that has undergone carbonation treatment to the paste layer to form a humidity conditioning layer, and a second molding step (S7) for pressure molding a laminate of the molded article, paste layer, and humidity conditioning layer.
