Abstract:
A method for producing a hydrocarbon liquid fuel by catalytically hydrocracking a feed oil in the presence of a catalytic hydrocracking catalyst by using a hydrogen supply pressure of 0.1-1.0 MPa, a liquid hourly space velocity for the amount of feed oil of 0.05-10.0 hr-1, and a hydrogen flow rate per liter of feed oil of 50-3000 NL, wherein, in the method for producing a hydrocarbon liquid fuel, the catalytic hydrocracking catalyst is prepared by a method comprising a step (step 1) for stirring a sulfur compound and a cracking catalyst in an aqueous medium and performing solid-liquid separation, a step (step 2) for stirring the solid obtained in step 1 and a metal component in an aqueous medium and performing solid-liquid separation, a step (step 3) for firing the solid obtained in step 2, and a step (step 4) for reducing the solid obtained in step 3 or performing sulfuration treatment after having reduced the solid obtained in step 3. The prevent invention makes it possible, using a predetermined procedure, to conduct catalytic hydrocracking of fats and oils and biomass retort oils, or feed oils such as hydrocarbons in petroleum, by supplying low-pressure hydrogen of approximately normal pressure.
