Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing HCFC and/or HFC by carrying out a fluorination reaction of a halogenated hydrocarbon with anhydrous hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a catalyst, said method enabling the efficient production without needing to stop the production whenever the activity of the catalyst is reproduced or recovered and while preventing the excessive increase in the size of a facility. As a solution for the problem, a method is provided, which comprises the steps of: (A) carrying out a fluorination reaction of a halogenated hydrocarbon with anhydrous hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a catalyst in at least two reactors to produce HCFC and/or HFC; and (B) producing HCFC and/or HFC through the above-mentioned reaction in at least one of the reactors while halting the reaction in the other of the reactors.
