Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an inorganic compound using a metal oxide as a starting material, by which an aimed inorganic compound is produced without firing at high temperatures in a shorter time in comparison to conventional production methods wherein mixing by a ball mill and firing are performed. The present invention is a method for producing an inorganic compound wherein a mixture that contains a flux and a starting material powder containing two or more metal oxide powders is processed by a mechanochemical method so that the two or more metal oxide powders are caused to react with each other. It is preferable that the inorganic compound obtained by the reaction is a crystalline complex metal oxide.
