Abstract:
According to this method for producing an insulated wire, an insulating coating film is formed on the surface of an electric wire by performing a baking process after the formation of an insulating layer on the surface of the electric wire by an electrodeposition method using an insulating electrodeposition material that contains a polymer. A pretreatment process for evaporating a solvent in the insulating layer is performed before the baking process, and this pretreatment process is carried out in a near-infrared heating furnace. In addition, the temperature of the pretreatment process is lower than the temperature of the baking process.
