Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing an integrated substrate whereby it is possible to prevent the forming of cracks in the integrated substrate and fracture of said substrate. An unfired laminate is prepared and fired. The unfired laminate is provided with: (a) a plurality of unsintered ceramic layers, which are stacked and pressure bonded to one another and have an individual substrate region (11s) including a part (11) that will become an individual substrate, and a perimeter region (11t) surrounding the periphery of the individual substrate region (11s); and (b) shrinkage suppression layers (30, 32), which are formed between adjacent ceramic layers in the perimeter region (11t) of the ceramic layers so as to contact the outer edges of the ceramic layers. The unsintered laminate has breaking grooves (11q, 11y) for breaking into individual substrates, said grooves being formed along the dividing line of the part (11) which will become an individual substrate, or along the line of extension thereof, on at least one of the principal surfaces (12a, 12b) that are exposed to the outside on each side in the stacking direction of the ceramic layers.
