Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING IODINATED AROMATIC COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/111423
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for effectively and inexpensively producing an iodinated aromatic compound without using solvents detrimental to the human body that does not need ligands. Also disclosed is a method for producing a target iodinated aromatic compound in high yields that controls side reactions even when the substrate has a sterically bulky structure such as a fused ring structure. This method for producing an iodinated aromatic compound is characterized by reacting a compound represented by general formula [1] and an iodinated alkali metal salt in the presence of copper or copper ions and a compound represented by general formula [2].
