Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing iodine pentafluoride, the method including the step of producing the iodine pentafluoride by supplying an iodine heptafluoride gas into a reaction vessel having iodine pentafluoride in a liquid phase that includes iodine and reacting the iodine with the iodine heptafluoride. According to this method, high speed production of the iodine pentafluoride can be achieved safely and stably.
