Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing an ionomer resin, said method comprising: (i) a step wherein a poor solvent is added into a solution of a crude ionomer resin that contains a (meth)acrylic acid unit (A), a neutralized (meth)acrylic acid unit (B) and an ethylene unit (C), thereby having a granular resin precipitated, said granular resin having a peak top particle diameter of from 50 μm to 700 μm; and (ii) a step wherein the precipitated granular resin is cleaned with a cleaning liquid. With respect to this method for producing an ionomer resin, the total content of the unit (A) and the unit (B) is from 6 to 10% by mole based on all monomer units of the crude ionomer resin.
