Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for producing an iron oxide pigment using electroplating. The method for producing an iron oxide pigment according to the present invention is configured such that by using electroplating and with current density and concentration as variables, a high-quality, nanometer-sized iron oxide powder can be produced from waste pickle liquor in an easy and inexpensive manner, and an iron oxide pigment containing no heavy metal can be produced.
