Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for friction stir welding of two members to be welded (1,2) placed adjacent to each other to produce a joint member.
The method of producing a joint member includes a step in which a probe (11) dwells while rotating for a predetermined time at least at one of the starting point (Sp) where the probe forms a joint (Sj) in one of the members to be joined (1) and the end point where the probe forms an joint end in the member (1).
