Abstract:

Welding is performed by using a plurality of laser beams each having a spot diameter of 0.3 mm or greater on the steel plate surface of an open pipe, the spots being arranged in a manner such that the sum of the spot lengths of the plurality of laser beams in a direction perpendicular to the welding line on the steel plate surface is 0.5 mm or greater, and the distance between the centers of the spots in the welding line direction is 5 mm or less.
