Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of ameliorating both low heating rate of a layered part and heating of a single sheet part for an excessive amount of time in cases where an Al plated steel sheet is used as a base material. [Solution] The present invention provides a heating method in which a layered blank for hot stamping is heated in a heating furnace at a temperature T1, the layered blank for hot stamping being provided with: a first Al plated steel sheet which has a sheet thickness d1; and a second Al plated steel sheet which has a sheet thickness d2, and is superposed on and welded to the first Al plated steel sheet, while having a smaller area than the first Al plated steel sheet and having a carbon-based black coating film on an Al plated steel sheet surface that does not come into contact with the first Al plated steel sheet. The layered blank for hot stamping satisfies formula (a) to formula (c); the heating time is set to not less than t1 but not more than (t2 + ∆t2).
