Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE, AND LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/157021
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This method for producing a light-emitting device comprises an electrode formation step and a quantum dot layer formation step. The quantum dot layer formation step involves an application step, a temperature-raising step, and a first light irradiation step. In the application step, a solution containing a plurality of quantum dots, each including a core and a first shell covering the core, a ligand that forms a coordinate bond with each of the quantum dots, an inorganic substance precursor, and a solvent is applied in a location overlapping a substrate. In the temperature-raising step, the temperature is raised after the application step until the ligand melts and the solvent vaporizes. In the first light irradiation step, light is irradiated after the temperature-raising step. In the first light irradiation step, a second shell covering the first shell is formed by epitaxially growing the inorganic substance precursor around the first shell, and an inorganic film is formed by epitaxially growing the inorganic substance precursor at an interface between the quantum dot layer and a first charge transport layer.
