Abstract:
[Solution] The present invention relates to a method for producing a liquid hydrocarbon fuel, the method comprising the following first and second reaction steps. (1) First reaction step: a feed oil is catalytically hydrocracked in the presence of a hydrocracking catalyst while controlling the hydrogen supply pressure to 0.2-0.95 MPa, the liquid hourly space velocity of the feed oil to 0.05-0.5 hr-1, and the ratio between the flow rate of hydrogen and the flow rate of the feed oil to 100-1000 NL of hydrogen per liter of feed oil, thereby providing a decomposed liquid. (2) Second step: the decomposed liquid is hydrogenated in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst while controlling the hydrogen supply pressure to 0.2-0.95 MPa, the liquid hourly space velocity of the decomposed liquid to 0.2-5 hr-1, and the ratio between the flow rate of hydrogen and the flow rate of the decomposed liquid to 100-1000 NL of hydrogen per liter of decomposed liquid, thereby providing a liquid hydrocarbon fuel. According to the present invention, a desired liquid hydrocarbon fuel can be produced by performing the combination of catalytic hydrocracking and hydrogenation of a feed oil such as an oil, a fat or the like under predetermined conditions while supplying hydrogen at a low pressure close to normal pressure.
