Abstract:
A method for producing a machine component (10) formed from a titanium alloy according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a heating step (S2) wherein a titanium alloy member to be processed is heated to a solution heat treatment temperature that is lower than the β single phase transformation point of the titanium alloy. The heating step comprises: a first step (S21) wherein the member to be processed is heated at a first heating rate; and a second step (S22) which is performed after the first step, and wherein the member to be processed is heated at a second heating rate that is lower than the first heating rate.
