Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a method for producing a master batch for a conductive resin, the method involving a step for mixing and kneading a thermoplastic resin and an aggregate of carbon fibers, wherein the average fiber diameter of the carbon fibers is between 1 and 100 nm, the bulk density of the aggregate is between 0.03 and 0.3 g/cm3, and the amount of the aggregate is between 6 mass% and 50 mass% relative to the total of the thermosetting resin and the aggregate. By using the master batch obtained by means of said method, it is possible to obtain a conductive resin exhibiting excellent machine characteristics and high conductivity at a low additive amount even if high shearing is performed during secondary kneading such as diluting with the resin.
