Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a metal-based particle aggregate comprising 30 or more metal-based particles arranged two-dimensionally separated from each other and having an average distance between adjacent metal-based particles in the 1-150 nm range, wherein the production method includes a step for forming a metal-based particle aggregate on a substrate by reducing the cations in a state in which the substrate is brought into contact with a liquid containing cations of a metal for constructing the metal-based particles, and the time the substrate is in contact with the liquid is from 0.2 T to less than T, taking the time from bringing the substrate into contact with the liquid until the layer of metal formed on the substrate exhibits conductivity as T.
