Abstract:
Provided are a method for producing a metal member, a method for producing a resin member, and method for producing an exterior part for a vehicle, each using a laminate comprising a paint-substitute film that includes, in this order, a thermoplastic resin film, a colorant layer, and a semi-cured hard coat layer and a protective film pasted on the surface of the hard coat layer. (1) The method for producing a metal member uses a steel sheet in addition to the laminate and comprises a molding step for press molding the laminate with the heated steel sheet by thermocompression bonding while curing the semi-cured hard coat layer. (2) The method for producing a resin member uses a molten resin in addition to the laminate and comprises introducing the paint-substitute film into a mold; then injection-molding a melted resin for in-mold molding; and curing the semi-cured hard coat during the interval from introduction into the mold to completion of the in-mold molding. (3) The method for producing an exterior part for a vehicle comprises combining the metal member and the resin member produced by the aforementioned production methods.
