Abstract:
The present invention relates to: provision of a method for producing an acrylic polymerizable monomer that can be used in various applications such as optical materials, resist materials, coating materials and lamination materials; and provision of a novel β-(meth)acryloyloxy-γ-butyrolactone compound with use of the method for producing an acrylic polymerizable monomer. A method for producing a β-(meth)acryloyloxy-γ-butyrolactone compound, which is characterized by condensing and isomerizing a (meth)acrylic acid ester compound having a carbonyl group and a ketene compound. In addition, this production method is applied to a novel β-(meth)acryloyloxy-γ-butyrolactone compound.
