Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of producing methane gas from a gas hydrate by injecting a gas. According to the method of producing methane gas from the gas hydrate by injecting a gas, the production ratio of methane gas may reach 100%, the production of methane gas may be accomplished in a short time, and the method may be applied regardless of the temperature/pressure conditions in the potential region of the gas hydrate and the temperature/pressure conditions of the injection gas. In addition, since nitrogen, oxygen and an inert gas are used, the amount of expected environmental damage may be reduced. In particular, when air is used, transportation of a separate injection gas is rendered unnecessary. The air above the potential region of the gas hydrate may be collected/compressed and injected on site, and the cost may be decreased.
