Abstract:
A method of producing micro-lens array sheet in a screen for a rear projection display having at least a Fresnel lens and a micro-lens array sheet (1) disposed in the order mentioned from a light source side, the method comprising the step of applying a photo-curing resin composition (4) transparent to a visible light to the rear surface of the sheet (1) formed with a micro-lens array (3) on the front surface of the sheet, the step of applying almost parallel lights to the front surface of the sheet (1) to cure the resin composition (4) in the vicinity of the focal points of the array (3), the step of removing the uncured portions with a solvent, and the step of applying a curing black liquid to notched portions formed by the removing, thereby forming a light shielding layer (2).
