Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a molded article containing a cyclic olefinic resin, said method making is possible to reduce gel-like substances generated in the molded article containing the cyclic olefinic resin. When a molded article containing a cyclic olefinic resin is produced using a molding device comprising a screw, the compression ratio of the screw of the molding device is 2.5 or less and D/d≥1.05, where a screw external dimension in a measurement part is D mm and a groove base diameter dimension is d mm. A cylinder diameter is preferably between 20 mm and 120 mm, and the screw preferably comprises a mixing part at the tip end.
