Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing an N-substituted amide compound/amide compound copolymer using a biocatalyst, the method comprising: (A) a step for reacting an amide compound with an amine in the presence of an enzyme that catalyzes an amide exchange reaction; and (B) a step for subjecting the obtained reaction product to polymerization conditions and polymerizing an N-substituted amide compound and an amide compound to obtain a copolymer.
