Abstract:
This method for producing a nanocrystalline alloy ribbon includes obtaining a nanocrystalline alloy ribbon by bringing a partial area of an amorphous alloy ribbon that travels continuously while a tension F is applied thereto and that has a composition represented by Fe100-a-b-c-dBaSibCucMd (wherein each of a, b, c, and d is an atomic percent, the expressions 0 < a, 0 < b, 0 < c, 0 ≤ d, and 78 ≤ 100 - a - b - c - d are satisfied, and M represents Mo, Nb, or the like) into contact with the surface of a heat transfer medium maintained at a temperature of 450°C or more under conditions satisfying tc > 4/σ (wherein tc represents the time (seconds) from the time at which an arbitrary point on the amorphous alloy ribbon is brought into contact with the heat transfer medium to the time at which the arbitrary point separates from the heat transfer medium, and σ represents the calculated value of the contact pressure (kPa) between the amorphous alloy ribbon and the heat transfer medium).
