Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a nitrile group-containing copolymer rubber by copolymerizing a monomer mixture containing an α,β-ethylenic unsaturated nitrile monomer and a conjugated diene monomer, wherein the Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C) of the copolymer at a point when the polymerization conversion rate is 60% is set in the 30-60 range, polymerization is performed until the polymerization conversion rate reaches 85% or higher, and a nitrile group-containing copolymer rubber having a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C) of 85-150 is obtained.
