Abstract:
A method for producing an α-olefin oligomer, which comprises a process wherein: an α-olefin oligomer mixture is produced by performing an oligomerization reaction of an α-olefin; subsequently, a distillation residue containing α-olefin oligomers having n or more carbon atoms is obtained by separating α-olefin oligomers having less than n carbon atoms from the mixture by means of distillation; and then polymers are removed from the distillation residue.
