Abstract:
Provided are: a production method for producing a high-strength thin optical film by stretching a melt-extruded film containing rubber particles while preventing the occurrence of blushing which may be caused by the rubber particles; and an optical film.
A method for producing an optical film according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a relaxation step of shrinking the size of a stretched film in the direction of stretching of the stretched film, while applying a tensile force to the stretched film in the direction of the stretching of the stretched film, wherein the stretched film comprises a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin and rubber particles.
