Abstract:

The present invention provides a method for producing an optical film which exhibits excellent antifouling properties and excellent scratch resistance, while having excellent antireflective properties. A method for producing an optical film according to the present invention comprises: a step (1) for applying a lower layer resin and an upper layer resin; a step (2) for forming a resin layer that has a recessed and projected structure in the surface by pressing a die against the coated lower layer resin and upper layer resin from the upper layer resin side, while maintaining the coated lower layer resin and upper layer resin in a laminated state; and a step (3) for curing the resin layer. The lower layer resin contains at least one first monomer containing no fluorine atoms, while the upper layer resin contains at least one second monomer containing no fluorine atoms and a fluorine-containing monomer. At least one of the first monomer and the second monomer contains a compatible monomer that is compatible with the fluorine-containing monomer, and is able to be dissolved in the lower layer resin and the upper layer resin.
