Abstract:
A conventional solution means for regulating the temperature of thermoplastic resin under extrusion molding, or a conventional method for regulating the circumferential speed of a roll during extrusion molding cannot reproduce a fine surface molding accurately, and a resulting resin sheet cannot fully achieve the surface molding performance which is designed to achieve various purposes, and thereby an optical sheet using the resin sheet, a light source unit using the optical sheet, and a display unit cannot be developed. A method for producing an optical sheet by subjecting the sheet to surface molding using a molding roll surface-processed for transferring an unever shape, characterized in that the circumferential speed (Vb) of a take-up roll (B) is equal to 103-120% of the circumferential speed (Va) of the molding roll. An optical sheet produced by this production method, a light source unit including the optical sheet, and a display unit are also included in the invention.
