Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high purity optically active bicyclic γ-amino acid derivative. The means for accomplishing this purpose is a method for producing a compound represented by general formula (VII), or a salt thereof, by means of a mixture of compounds represented by general formula (I) and general formula (I') or by means of compound (I). Formula (I) and (I') [in the formulae, R1 and R2 each denote a C1-6 alkyl group or the like, and R3 denotes a cyano group or the like.]
