Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing an optically functional film without causing appearance
defects. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing an optically functional
film comprising a coating step wherein a resin solution is applied over a base
film which is composed of a thermoplastic resin, and an immobilization step wherein
a resin layer is formed by immobilizing the coated resin. This method is characterized
by comprising, before the coating step, a drawing step wherein the base film is
drawn while being heated.
