Abstract:
As a method that successively forms each constituent element of an organic EL element starting from a negative electrode, disclosed is a method for producing an organic EL element that easily prepares an organic EL element by means of a roll-to-roll method. In a favorable embodiment, the method for producing an organic EL element prepares an organic EL element by layering a negative electrode, an electron injection layer, a light-emitting layer, and a positive electrode in the given order on a supporting substrate by means of a roll-to-roll method, and includes: a step for forming the electron injection layer by means of applying an ink containing an ionic polymer to form a film on the negative electrode of the supporting substrate to which the negative electrode has been formed; a step for forming the light-emitting layer on the electron injection layer; and a step for forming the positive electrode on the light-emitting layer.
