Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a paint material, the method being for obtaining paint colors having a great variety of hues, including hues having brightness properties such that the optical characteristics are difficult to predict, the method being based on computer color-mixing and making it possible to finish color-mixing using few prototypes irrespective of the proficiency level of an operator. To solve the abovementioned problem, provided is a method for producing a paint material, the method being based on computer color-mixing using a device provided with a database in which at least blending composition data Y for one or more types of compositions and corresponding hue data X are registered, and a computer by which is executed color-matching computation logic in which the data registered in the database is used, and the method including prescribed steps S101-S111.
