Abstract:
In the disclosed method, a primary formed body (G1) is formed by a bead ring (25) being fitted to the outside of both ends in the widthwise direction of a cylindrical body having: a inner liner at the innermost periphery comprising butyl rubber; a film that is layered to the outside periphery thereof and that comprises a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition; and a carcass material disposed at the outside periphery thereof. The inner liner is prevulcanized in the state wherein the center in the widthwise direction of the primary formed body (G1) is caused to bulge in the outer peripheral direction and is held by suction to the inner peripheral surface of a transferring/holding mold (9) that has a similar shape to the outer peripheral surface of a rigid inner mold (11). After the rigid inner mold (11) is interpolated in the primary formed body (G1), the suction of the transferring/holding mold (9) is suspended, the primary formed body (G1) is transferred to the outer peripheral surface of the rigid inner mold (11), a green tire is formed at the outer peripheral surface of the rigid inner mold (11), and this green tire is vulcanized.
