Abstract:
The invention is a method for producing copolymers of olefin and polar group-containing monomers represented by formula (1)
C(R1)2=C(R1)(C(R1)2)nR2 (1)
(the definitions of the notations in the formula are as described in the Specifications), and is characterized in that a complex of a metal in Group 10 of the periodic table is used for the catalyst, and the catalyst solution separated from the polymer after the polymerization reaction is supplied, circulated and re-used in the polymerization reaction system. With the production method, catalyst cost can be dramatically reduced.
