Abstract:
A polyamide resin is produced by polycondensing a polyamide oligomer having a relative viscosity of 1.1 to 1.3 and a water content of 3 wt% or less by melt kneading using an extruder that has one or more open vents (OV1, OV2) and one or more vacuum vents (VV1, VV2) and is equipped with an intermeshing co-rotating twin screw. A pressure-decreasing element (Y) for increasing a resin filling rate is provided at a part located on the supply part side relative to positions at which the vacuum vents (VV1, VV2) are provided, and a zone occupying 30% or less of the total screw length is defined as a vacuum zone (VA) having a pressure of 300 torr or less.
