Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing polybutylene terephthalate resin particles, said method including (a) a step (dissolution step) for heating a polybutylene terephthalate resin in an organic solvent to obtain a solution of the polybutylene terephthalate resin, and (b) a step (precipitation step) for flash-cooling the solution and precipitating particles of the polybutylene terephthalate resin. The present invention provides a method for producing PBT resin particles by a simple procedure that can be implemented industrially. The present invention also provides extremely fine PBT resin particles of uniform grain size.
