The invention relates to a method for producing polyether alcohols by reacting a) aromatic amines with b) alkyl oxides in the presence of c) a catalyst, characterized in that the alkyl oxide b) contains at least 90 wt.% of propylene oxide with respect to the weight of the component b), and that an amine is used as the catalyst c).
