Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a polyimide-based resin powder, the method enabling the efficient removal of an alcohol-based solvent such as methanol when producing the polyimide-based resin powder. The method for producing a polyimide-based resin powder includes at least: (1) a step for causing contact between a polyimide-based resin solution, in which a polyimide-based resin has been dissolved in a good solvent, and a solvent containing an alcohol having one to four carbon atoms, thereby causing the polyimide-based resin to precipitate, and obtaining a mixture containing the precipitated polyimide-based resin; (2) a step for subjecting the obtained mixture to solid-liquid separation to thereby obtain a polyimide-based resin composition (a) containing the precipitated polyimide-based resin; and (3) a step for causing contact between the polyimide-based resin composition (a) and a solvent having water as a main component.
