Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a polymer latex, the method comprising: a stirring step for adding water to a polymer solution obtained by dissolving a synthetic rubber in an organic solvent, and stirring the water with the polymer solution to obtain an aqueous stirred polymer solution (A); an aqueous phase removal step for removing an aqueous phase from the aqueous stirred polymer solution (A) to obtain an aqueous phase-removed polymer solution (B); an emulsification step for mixing the aqueous phase-removed polymer solution (B) with an aqueous solution containing a surfactant and thereby emulsifying the aqueous phase-removed polymer solution (B) in water to obtain an emulsion (C); a solvent removal step for removing the organic solvent from the emulsion (C); and a concentration step for concentrating the emulsion (D) from which the organic solvent has been removed.
