Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a polymer latex, said method being provided with a step for obtaining an emulsion by emulsifying a polymer solution of synthetic polyisoprene and/or a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer in water in the presence of rosin and/or rosin metal salt, and said method involving the use of a rosin and/or rosin metal salt in which the total content of abietic acid, neoabietic acid, palustric acid, and salts thereof is 5% by weight or less as the rosin and/or rosin metal salt.
