Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a polyphenylene ether ether ketone by subjecting a cyclic polyphenylene ether ether ketone composition, which contains 60 wt.% or more of a cyclic polyphenylene ether ether ketone and which has a melting point of 270°C or lower, to thermal ring-opening polymerization in the presence of a metal alkoxide and/or a metal phenoxide.
