Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a branched polypropylene-based resin having a high melt tension; and a method for producing the branched polypropylene-based resin. Provided is a production method comprising a first melt-kneading step for melt-kneading a polypropylene-based resin, a conjugated diene compound and a radical polymerization initiator in a first melt-kneading section and an ejection step for ejecting a polypropylene-based resin having a branched structure which has been produced in the first melt-kneading step through a die, in which the specific energy E1 is 0.35 kWh/kg or more.
